Growing

We believe that our role as a church to build up Christians is an essential part of Christ's commission to make disciples (Mt 28:19). As well as preaching and teaching the Bible in our regular services, our aim as a church is to meet together in smaller groups for Christian fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Our lead minister for the area of discipleship is our Vicar Fergus Pearson, assisted by Andy Walkingshaw.

Home Groups

Home Groups meet each week during term time, on a range of evenings, in the homes of congregation members. If you are already a Christian and would like to join a Home Group, please speak to Fergus Pearson.

Otherwise, you may like to consider a Christianity Explored course which we run for those looking into the Christian faith and who Jesus is.

Study notes:

1: Stephen And Abraham
2: Abraham And Justification
3: The Faith of Abraham
4: Abraham and the Covenant
5: Abraham and life beyond this life

Chinese Fellowship

We are a group of Chinese Christians who mainly originate from Hong Kong. We are bound together by Jesus’ sacrificial love and are here to help and support one another.

At our fellowship meeting which is held every other Saturday at 11.30am for approximately two hours in a home environment, we study God’s word in our own language and edify one another.

We are eager to preach the Gospel and minister to other Chinese people’s lives as and when opportunities are presented.

Both believers and non-believers are welcome.

Discipleship Course

A home grown course for those who would like to take a deeper look at Bible doctrine (the big ideas!) and how it affects our lives. Opportunities for mentoring by an older Christian also exist as part of this program.

The course runs from September to December and takes place once a month on a Saturday morning. For full details please see the brochure.

If you'd like more information please speak to Fergus Pearson or Rich Davey.
