One life

This is a question the Bible asks, which at first glance seems quite simple. However, the reality is, it's a question many can't answer.

So, what is your life?
Are you among the countless many, who define their life by speaking about what they have?
Surely there is more to life than this?

At St John's, we run a course called Christianity Explored, the aim of which is to get us to look closer at life and what life is all about.

The first session of Christianity Explored asks:
"What are we doing here?", which again, is something many never think about, let alone try to answer.

As Christians, we believe everything relating to both What life is and What it's all about, only makes sense when we look first of all, not to our own lives, but to the life of Jesus Christ.
The Bible says of Jesus, He Himself is Life.

Now if this is true, we owe it to ourselves to look at Jesus and His life more closely.
And this is what Christianity Explored does.

It's a seven week journey that asks:

  • Who is Jesus?
  • Why did Jesus come?
  • Why did Jesus die?
  • Why did Jesus rise?
  • How can God accept us?
  • What does it mean to follow Jesus?

Why not come along and seek answers to these questions?
Who knows, it may lead to you being able to answer, perhaps for the first time , the question: “What is your life?”
