A warm welcome to St John's Hensingham!

We are an evangelical Anglican Church (in the Church of England.) We love welcoming newcomers and want to make you feel at home amongst us if you are near enough to visit.

As a group of people from many different backgrounds, we have found that Jesus welcomes us and so we want to welcome others!

Because we want to be shaped by the Bible as God's Word, we speak about having Gospel DNA. So whether it is our Sunday services, or other ministries, church life is shaped by this.

We are intentional about the 3 values of being:

  • Gospel centred
  • Bible centred
  • and Jesus centred.
